Information Collection and Use
Our primary goals in collecting personally identifiable information are to provide you with the product and services we provide, to communicate with you, and to manage registered accounts, if you have one.
Information Collected Before Registration
If you have not registered for our Software or Services, while on our Site we may collect non-personal information such as your IP address, browser type or the domain from which you are visiting, the web-pages you visit, the search terms you use, and any advertisements on which you click. We do this through the use of log data and cookies.
Information Collected Upon Registration
You will be required to become a registered user to access certain restricted section of the Site and Software and to submit certain personally identifiable information to Allay. This happens in a number of instances, such as when you sign up for the Software.
Personally identifiable information we may collect during registration of the organization may include: IP address, first name, last name, email, password, company name, country, region, city, street address, zip/postal code.
To make the most use of the Allay Software you will need to include (or allow the importation of) information about the people who work with your organization (“Workers”). This can include their name, email address, date of birth, home address, and social security number. This information is also used to aid in the enrollment of health insurance products and other Services if they so choose. During these processes additional personal information may be requested from your Workers through the normal use of our Software to automatically import this information for enrollment and other purposes. If through automatic import we cannot get the necessary information we will use their contact information to get in touch with the user and complete the request.
When you visit our Site our servers automatically record information that your browser sends when you visit a website. As stated above this IP address, browser type or the domain from which you are visiting, the web-pages you visit, the search terms you use, and any advertisements on which you click. For most users the IP address their Internet Service Provider (ISP) is different every time they log on. We use Log Data to monitor the use of the Site and of our Software, and for the Site and Software’s technical administration. Your IP address is not associated with any personally identifiable information, except when logged into our Software in which case we associate your email address to your IP address in order to provider a better user, and customer service, experience.
Like most websites, we also use “cookie” technology to collect additional website usage data in order to improve the Site and Software and to provide a more personalized Service. A cookie is a small data file that we transfer to your computer’s hard disk. We may use both session and persistent cookies. A session cookie expires when you close your browser; a persistent cookie remains on your hard drive for an extended period of time. You can reject cookies by following the directions provided in your web browser’s “help” file. If you reject cookies, you may still use the Site, but your ability to use some areas of the Software will be limited.
Information Sharing and Disclosure
If an application for an insurance product offered by our Software is submitted, then we will disclose that users personal information to the chosen insurance company to process your application. These partners are only allowed to use your personal information to process your requested quote, application or enrollment form and are contractually obligated to maintain strict confidentiality.
We may also ask you to provide additional personal information and/or health-related information relating to you and any family member included in your application if you apply for a health insurance or other service/product through our Software. This information will only be shared with the selected insurance company, agent or administrator to process the application. Additionally, we may ask for credit card or bank information, which will be used with the selected insurance company or administrator to collect any fees associated with the application or insurance premiums upon acceptance of your application.
Compliance with Laws and Law Enforcement
Allay cooperates with government and law enforcement officials or private parties to enforce and comply with the law. We may disclose any information about you to government or law enforcement officials or private parties as we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate to respond to claims, legal process (including subpoenas), to protect the property and rights of Allay or a third party, the safety of the public or any person, to prevent or stop any illegal, unethical, or legally actionable activity, or to comply with the law.
Changing or Deleting Information
If you are a registered user of our Software, you may access and update or correct the information you provided to us at any time simply by logging in or by e-mailing us at email@example.com.
We have reasonable security measures in place intended to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of personally identifiable information that we have collected from you through the Site. However, we are unable to guarantee that the security measures we take will not be penetrated or compromised or that your personally identifiable information will remain secure under all circumstances.
